Abbas Kamangar is a visual artist whose work explores a diverse range of subjects drawn from society, everyday life, nature, and human experience.

His artistic journey began at the age of eight under the guidance of his father, the late Yousuf Kamangar, and his cousin, Qasim Kamangar. Over the course of 14 years, he received rigorous training in traditional painting techniques, developing his skills in figurative art, landscapes, and floral compositions.

Abbas began his professional career as a fine artist in 1996 with his participation in a group exhibition. Since then, he has continued to develop his artistic practice and has participated in 39 national and international group exhibitions, establishing a diverse body of work and a sustained presence in the art community.

Alongside his studio practice, Abbas has conducted numerous live painting demonstrations and art workshops at various institutions and public spaces, including Coopera Art Gallery and Lawrence Garden in Lahore, Islamabad, Bahawalpur, Bahauddin Zakariya University in Multan, and Izmir, Turkey.

Through his paintings, demonstrations, and educational activities, Abbas Kamangar continues to share his experience and passion for the visual arts while exploring the many facets of life and society through his artistic expression
